Canada Hazardous Products Act (Phthalates) comes into force from Jun 10, 2011

The amendment of Schedule I to the Hazardous Products Act (Phthalates) and its new regulation have been effective on Dec 10, 2010 and come into force on Jun 10, 2011. The objective of the Phthalates Regulations is to restrict the sale, importation and advertisement in Canada of children's toys and child care articles that contains over-limit phthalates.
